Cafe Ole was part of the International collection of Strawberry Shortcake line. Began drawing them in 1982. She was made in to a doll but did not get as much attention. I wanted to change that in my retro art. I drew her an her little burro "BURRITO" carrying flowers. I created the sun giving it more of Mexican styling. The background is tile produced in the 1930s by Mexican artisans in Mission in Texas. These I sold at LaConve Monterrey Mexico. I kept a few to be offered on line. The art is 6x8 the custom double mat is 8.5 X 11. I comes signed in the mats and also hand signed.
